Custom Shoe #4

Another pair of shoes, for a friend at work, just told me to do what i like, this is what i ended up with. Again both shoes contrast, one being 'evil' in a way the other being good. Not really got much else to say on these ones except they are probably the neatest and cleanest shoes ive produced, love the blue colour tooo.

Custom shoe #3 first girly shoes ;)

First attempt at a girly design, on some laced pumps. Same materials again, sharpie markers for the win! Both feet are opposing each other one side are happy the other are sad, emphasized by the broken and unbroken hearts at the back of the shoe. really enjoyed doing these ones, and enjoyed the look on my girlfriends face when i gave them her even more. On reflection im not keen on the orange i used but w/e you learn by doing right.

Custom shoe #2

So its been a fair while since i did my first pair of custom shoes, my mate has been wearing them around and ive been getting a nice bit of attention from them it seems.
So he came to me and asked me to do another pair for him, this time a little bit more directed from himself. He asked me for something like hanya demons, An oriental demon formed from a woman's jealousy. i didnt do much planning just let the pen do the work. Id had some past experience in drawing them before so i didnt hesitate. take a gander.

Canvas mess...

I found a few old A5 canvas that i had lying around from ages ago, with me being a bit strapped for cash and it being my brothers birthday i decided to do him one, its not much but its better than nothing i guess. This is it...Just ink, and the good old sharpie pens were used.

Im gonna be doin a few more experimenting a bit with spray and the usual crap ill post them when there done.

Custom shoes updateee Finished??

So yeh, i reckon im about done with these shoes, really happy with the way they have turned out. over the next few days i reckon ill create some kind of promotioanl photos with a bit of illustration work on a white background or what not, just see how it goes. But yeh let me know what you think and if you would like me to crack you a pair out(just give me a topic for the design) or are even interested in buying these shoes then let me know they are sizes 9s.

1st custom shoe update....

nearly one shoe done, one more to go, trying to decide what should be done to the rubber of the shoe might check out a few colour palettes and see what would look rad, I'm actually fairly pleased with the way that these are turning out for once.

Shoe customization....

While spending dubious amount in the library cracking on with what seemed like a mountain of research and work, I came across a little Gem called "Custom Kicks" a small pocket sized book filled with custom designs various artists and illustrators have slapped onto a pair of shoes, trainers or pumps. It gave me a massive boost of inspiration and motivated me to have a crack at it my self.

I grabbed a bunch of my trusty sharpie pens and worked away on a pair of canvas pumps i had lying around, i went at it with no real compositional ideas or even a concpet for the design i was gonna do and i just let rip.

The crack so farrrr.......

Osama Bin Skullface

After being given the task of creating a final image for a poem based on the problems of the world I came up with a few ideas. This is the one i decided to go for... My aim was to symbolise War, Death, Terrorism and Evil. I am confident I achieved this.

Finally!

Finally set up a blog! I should hopefully be posting some of my current and previous Illustration work for any one interested to have a butchers at. Need to get cracking!
